Employment Opportunity - County Engineer

Iroquois County, Illinois is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and collaborative individual to serve as County Engineer.  Iroquois County has approximately 325 miles of County Highways, 1,665 miles of Township Highways, 452 County and Township Bridges and 26 Township Highway Commissioners.  This position will perform all services and acts reasonably necessary to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the County Engineer as described in the Illinois Highway Code (605 ILCS 5).  Essential duties, responsibilities and minimum qualifications are available upon request.  Iroquois County offers an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays and IMRF retirement.  Interested parties may submit their cover letter, resume and references to alongfellow@iroquoiscountyil.gov.  Iroquois County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
